Oasis Hospital doctors declared Kisii Aspirant MCA Dead on Monday morning following a deadly attack at his home in Bombaba Borabu Ward. Heated political rivalry is mainly to blame for the death of Thomas Ontweka.

Kisii Aspirant MCA dead after a fateful attack
Who is Thomas Ontweka? Bombaba Borabu Ward aspirant MCA Esandona real names Thomas Okari Ontweka is a Nairobi based businessman turned politician.
His mysterious beheading happened a couple of days ahead of ODM Party nominations scheduled for April 7, 2022.
Local leaders and villagers mourning Mr Okari have accused his competitors of the Killing.
On the other hand, police are ongoing forensic investigations to expose the involved gang men and the forces behind them.
Incoming Kisii Governor Simba Arati appealed for a speedy probing by the Directorate of Criminal Investigation.
“I have this morning learnt of the untimely death of Mr Thomas Ontweka, an aspirant of the MCA seat of Bombaba Ward in Bomachoge Borabu Constituency. I condemn the heinous, cowardly act and urge the police to ensure that the culprits are apprehended to face the full force of law.”

Speaking to a local journalist, one of the sorrowful villagers, Alexinah Kemunto, indicated that Okari was a leading ODM Party candidate.
Furthermore, she praised his activeness in community-based projects including church constructions.
The sympathizing Alexinah also eulogized Okari while remembering his hospitalized father and sickly mother.
Village Elder Esther Kemunto Okioga says Esandona was the only hope in his forgotten village.

According to an uncle, Esandona who joined politics in 2017 emerged second after the incumbent Bombaba Borabu MCA Samson Mogusu Abuga.
For that reason, locals were already confident in Okari’s direct entry into the Kisii County Assembly.
