It is now alleged that Lucy Boke who is a first-year student at the Kisii National Polytechnic wanted to dump the killer baby daddy before he descended on her with a machete. Some unconfirmed sources insist that it was caused by a love triangle gone wrong.

Additional sources say that Lucy and her Isebania-based boyfriend were last seen together on Thursday evening, November 9, 2023. Moments later, she was heard screaming for help from her rented single-room house in Jogoo Estate. Sadly, she died leaving behind her 9 months old baby.

Eyewitnesses say that Lucy Boke succumbed to knife wounds on the lower abdomen.

Screams and hurling stones from enraged KNP students nearly ended the life of her boyfriend. Police officers on his rescue had this to say.

“When we arrived, we found that the lady had been killed by the boyfriend; it is also emerging that the man is an ex-boyfriend. We found the lady’s body on the floor.”

The badly injured boyfriend is nursing wounds at the Kisii Referral Hospital even as the body of Lucy is lying at the KTRH morgue.

“It’s sad, this student was brutally killed with several deep cuts all over her body, she died a painful death.”
