It is now alleged that Lucy Boke who is a first-year student at the Kisii National Polytechnic wanted to dump the killer baby daddy before he descended on her with a machete. Additional sources say that Lucy and her Isebania-based boyfriend were last seen together on Thursday evening, November 9, 2023. Moments later, she was heard screaming for help from her rented single-room house in Jogoo Estate. Sadly, she died leaving behind her 9 months old baby.

Eyewitnesses say that Lucy Boke succumbed to knife wounds on the lower abdomen.
