A prominent ODM politician is dead! News about the demise of Kholera Ward nominated MCA, Godliver Omondi, is still making headlines.

Until her last breath, Godliver was an outspoken member of the county assembly in Kholera Ward within Matungu Constituency, Kakamega County.
ODM mourns MCA Godliver Omondi
In a press statement shared online, ODM described the late as a dedicated party member.

Part of the official post read as follows;
“It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing on of Hon. Godliver Omondi, a former ODM Nominated Senator and MCA Kholera Ward in Matungu Constituency.”

Kakamega Governor Fernandes Barasa also mourned the MCA as a determined leader.

While the cause of death is not yet public, privy sources say she died while receiving treatment at the Aga Khan Hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Kisumu City.
“Legislatively, she has always championed the interests of the people of Kakamega County, more so women, youths, and people with disabilities.”

The death of Godliver Omondi is a huge blow to the ODM party and several dependents in her ward.
