President Ruto said the Open University of Kenya fee structure for e-learning courses is about half what learners pay in other higher learning institutions. He broke the news while sitting Equity CEO James Mwangi in the office of a vice-chancellor.

The Konza Metropolis OUK is the first of its kind in the country. Students are expected to attend classes remotely at affordable rates;

OUK is now fully chartered with at least 7 courses in the initial offers.

Unfortunately, the university is yet to release payable tuition fees for the following study programmes.

  • Bachelor of Data Science
  • Bachelor of Science in Cyber Security and Digital Forensics
  • Bachelor of Technology Education
  • Bachelor of Business and Entrepreneurship
  • Bachelor of Economics and Statistics
  • Bachelor of Agri-Technology and Food Systems
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Leadership and Accountability
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Learning Design and Technology
