Who are Eric Omondi brothers and sisters? The seasoned comedian cum activist has four siblings among them Fred Omondi who recently succumbed to a fatal accident along Outer Ring Road, Nairobi.

The jokester confirmed the tragic death of his only surviving brother on social media. 

Who are Eric Omondi Brothers and Sisters?

The renowned Eric Omondi is the second born in the family of four siblings including the third born Irene and lastborn Fred.

The firstborn Joseph Onyango Omondi died in 2018 after battling cocaine addiction for 19 years.

Eric Omondi’s only sister Irene Omondi is presently living and working in Germany.

Sadly, Omondi’s last born brother Fred who doubles up as a comic and emcee succumbed in a road accident in June 2024. 

He is survived by one daughter and a lovely spouse.

Elsewhere, Eric Omondi’s father was a senior police inspector. Even so, little is known about his biological mother Margaret Omondi, who died in 2002.

When his father Mzee Omondi passed on in 2004, a god-sent foster mother namely Evelyn Muchocho adopted the orphaned Eric.

She gladly enrolled him at Daystar University where he would meet his father comedy figure Churchil Ndambuki.

The death of Fred Omondi is a big blow to his brothers and sisters including Eric Omondi’s fanatics in social circles.
