Mama Rachel Chebet Parents – father and mother
Who is Ruto’s biological father? Mama Rachel Ruto is the daughter of Mzee Samuel Kimetto, formerly a strict and responsible board treasurer.
On the other hand, Rachel’s mother who died about 20 years ago was a respected woman.
And now, the 88 years old Kimetto lives with his second wife Magdalene Rugut following the tragic death of Rachel’s mother.
Further sources say Mzee Samuel Kimetto, formerly a laborer at a white settler’s farm in Kabenes, acquired land in Likuyani in 1966.
“I raised and educated my children by hawking maize and transporting farm produce from Soi to Eldoret using a bicycle.”

In 1985, the entire family moved to Sugoi where President Ruto was born and raised.
Rachel’s eldest sister Lydia Kimetto Musee is reportedly married to Ezra Kiplagat Musee at the nearby Kamagut village about five kilometers away.
Mrs Rachel, who a fifth is born, completed high school studies at Butere Girls and would eventually meet the youthful Ruto in one of her occasional visits to Kamagut.
Rachel’s matrimonial union easily cemented considering that Ezra Kiplagat Musee was a close friend to President Ruto.
The names of Rachel Chebet Parents are less publicized but she is forever grateful for their noble upbringing.
