The advertised 35,550 vacancies for teaching posts in Public Primary and Junior Secondary schools are causing sleepless nights because of the fast-approaching deadline. While a majority of unemployed educators have participated in the TSC recruitment application 2022, a section risks chasing the last minute.

The Teachers Service Commission is set to hire teachers under two categories, the first one being internship and the second, permanent and pensionable. Teachers from TVET institutions are highly encouraged to apply.

TSC Recruitment application 2022/2023 deadline

Rolled out a few days ago, the TSC recruitment application deadline is set for Friday, December 16th 2022. Qualified candidates are therefore required to submit their requests for an internship or full-time job no later than 16^th December.

TSC online recruitment portal requirements

• Must be a Kenyan citizen
• Must be TSC registered
• Not currently or previously employed by TSC
• P1 certificate holder for primary teachers
• Diploma certificate minimum for junior secondary teachers

Notice that manual applications will not be considered because the process is entirely online.

TSC recruitment portal login and application guide

• Open the TSC recruitment application link to initiate the application process
• Access the careers tab then Recruitment and Teachers from the drop-downs
• Now login using your TSC Number, ID number, and Phone Number
• Proceed to update your TSC profile information and choose between an internship and a permanent job  
• Finally, choose your preferred workplace county and sub-county then submit

Teachers with upgrade diplomas in Primary Teacher Education (CBC) will have an added advantage.
