Ogolla who died on Thursday, April 18, 2024, was buried on the immediate Sunday, per his will, requiring burial within 72 hours.

Ogolla and his wife Aileen were blessed with a couple of children, among them a son and daughter. Their only daughter is called Lorna Omondi Ogolla and their son Joel Omondi Rabuku.
Tributes from the duo reveal a loving dad who always sacrificed it all for his loved ones. Lorna had this to say about her dad.

“General is in a good place. I got to see him yesterday and today as I was going to get his belongings. It is going to be well for us.”
