Back to her life story, Soipan is of the Maasai tribe born and raised in Narok. She is the fourth-born daughter of Samson Ole Tuya, formerly a Member of Parliament in Narok South Constituency.
CS Soipan attended the World Bank-funded Ololulunga Primary School located within the Olentutu Arid zone in Narok County. For the record, she emerged as the top girl in the Narok district in her KCPE exams.
Good grades qualified Soipan to join Moi Girls High School for her secondary studies. She later transferred to the Kenya High School where she sat for her KCSE exams in 1998.
In 2002, Soipan graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Nairobi. On finishing her diploma studies at the Kenya School of Law, she was admitted to the bar an advocate of the high court of Kenya in 2004.
In 2009, she proceeded to the University of Washington in Seattle, USA, for a Master’s degree in law with a specialty in sustainable international development.
