Kenya’s Chief of Defence Forces Francis Ogolla is dead! His Excelleny President William Ruto confirmed the demise Thursday evening after hours of heated speculations.

The general allegedly succumbed, on April 18, 2024, in an unfortunate helicopter crash at Sindar, Elgeyo-Marakwet County.

Nine other passengers onboard the killer plane also perished on the spot.

In his speech, the Head of State declared three days of mourning effective Friday in honor of the fallen general. It now means that all flags will be flying half-mast throughout the period.
