The Kenya Medical Training College with headquarters in Nairobi City, Off Ngong Road, brags at least 75 campuses in various parts of the country. The institution is truly outstanding in health-related training. KMTC Teso Campus courses, fee structure, requirements, and contacts are handy ahead of the fast-approaching admissions.

KMTC is a precolonial middle-level college started in 1927 as the Native Medical Training School, NMTS. Initially training medical assistants, it is now a centre of front-line health care workers.

The newly established KMTC Teso Campus started admitting freshmen in March 2021 following a directive from a board of directors.

Where is KMTC Teso campus located? The college is situated in the Kocholya area in Teso North constituency, Western Kenya.

There are a couple of KMTC campuses in Busia County. As a result of the increase came plans to upgrade Kocholya Sub County Hospital to a level five health facility.

The former county boss had this to say on welcoming the KMTC campus.

“Kocholia Sub County Hospital currently has state of the art equipment. We shall inject Sh 6O million for its upgrading to Level 5 status to enable students from the new campus to undertake their practicals and attachment.”
