Modern Coast Accident in Kisii today claimed yet another life in a grisly accident at Nyakomisaro River within the Masosa area.
Eyewitnesses say the bus lost control before veering off the road and plunging into the waters below. Confirming the accident, Kisii Central police boss Amos Ambasa said one person succumbed on the spot.

Further reports indicate that the bus travelling from Mombasa was headed to Tanzania before the unexpected happened.
Those injured on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, mid-morning tragedy, were rushed to nearest hospitals.
The grisly incident comes within months of a 33-fatality Nithi Bridge Accident which resulted in the grounding of Modern Coast Bus license.

The giant company with at least 31 buses will soon kick back into normal operations with unanswered safety concerns.
Meanwhile, photos from the spot display a messy situation even as the police launch investigations.
