NHIF MPesa payment procedure
There are two ways of paying NHIF fees via MPesa. First are regular contributions and second, clearing penalties.
Let’s start with making your regular monthly contributions.
- Choose the paybill option
- Enter NHIF Business Number 200222
- Provide your NHIF Account Number (National ID number)
- Enter the figure you want to pay
- Provide the PIN and press ok to verify the payment
Those paying a pending NHIF penalty should add letter “Y” to the end of the National ID in step 3 above (Example – 2979**25Y).
