The number of benefits largely depend on the plan of choice and NHIF policies.

NHIF MPesa payment procedure

There are two ways of paying NHIF fees via MPesa. First are regular contributions and second, clearing penalties.

Let’s start with making your regular monthly contributions.

1. Choose the paybill option
2. Enter NHIF Business Number 200222
3. Provide your NHIF Account Number (National ID number)
4. Enter the figure you want to pay
5. Provide the PIN and press ok to verify the payment

Those paying a pending NHIF penalty should add letter “Y” to the end of the National ID in step 3 above (Example – 2979**25Y).
