Aspiring MCA Stephen Omwoyo Ondieki of UDA confident on Ruai Ward voters ahead of August Polls

The UDA Party leaning Stephen Omwoyo Ondieki is a new force to reckon in Ruai Ward politics. His entry into the race is a relief to several young people who feel locked out of the Nairobi City County Assembly. Hon Stephen is particularly prevalent because of his acceptable manifesto.

Ruai Ward in Kasarani Constituency has a population of about 40,000 residents. Other wards in Kasarani include Clay City, Mwiki, Njiru, and Kasarani. Hon Stephen is keen to succeed MCA John Kamangu Nyumu with better leadership.

In Kamangu’s legacy are failed promises from 5 years ago. For instance, he is yet to upgrade pothole dotted stage 26 roads.

These include a link connecting Choka and the Catholic neighbourhood. Similarly, MCA Kamangu has failed to install street lights along major streets within Ruai Ward.

Rising cases of insecurity are as a result frustrating residents and small businesses.

Manifesto in brief

The incoming MCA, Stephen, is not only determined to re-carpet local roads but also erect functional street lights and supply residents with safe drinking water.

On top of that, Hon Stephen is critical on the creation of jobs, equitable distribution of resources, and improving living standards through community based initiatives.
