Abdulswamad Nassir’s wife, parents, and place of birth
The veteran politician was born to Sheriff Nassir and Nassim Sheriff Nassir in the Majengo area of Mombasa.
He hails from a family of politicians.

His father is the late Shariff Nassir, a die-hard supporter of KANU. His father also held cabinet positions in President Moi’s government and as the Coast Region Chairman of the ruling party KANU.
