The other six siblings include lawyer Nick, diplomat June, journalist Charleen, lawyer Stephanie Jepchumba, politician George, and Abby in college.

Who was the first wife of Ruto? President William Ruto’s first spouse Rachel Chebet is also the first lady of the Republic of Kenya.

Born on November 20, 1968, Rachel became Ruto’s lawfully wedded sweetheart in 1991. At the time, she was only 23 years old.

The fresh graduate chief hustler born on December 21, 1966, was on the other hand aged 25. As we speak, Ruto is on the eve of his 56th birthday and Rachel is on the eve of her 54th birthday.

The fifth born trained Kiswahili teacher, eventually resigned from TSC to run family businesses even as Ruto engaged in Politics alongside President Daniel Moi.

Rachel says she met her husband Ruto at a Youth Camp meeting organized by the African Inland Church. Ruto and Rachel would fall in love while at the University of Nairobi.

Dr Ruto who was pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Botany and Rachel, Bachelor of Education (Kiswahili), fell in love almost uncontrollably.

Does Ruto have a second wife? President Ruto is on record for saying he does not want wife number two. Even so, he has a child with an infamous woman called Prisca Chemutai Bett.

Ruto who was a Member of Parliament in Eldoret North met and impregnated Moi University student Chemutai in 2005 – he met the young lass in one of his routine campus tours.

In 2017, Chemutai dragged Ruto to the courts demanding child support for their daughter Abby CheropRuto. Abby born on March 6th, 2006 is 16 years old as of 2022.

In 2017, Chemutai in a lawsuit demanded child support for her daughter who was at the time 11 years old.
