MC Kudu is the lastborn in a family of 4 siblings – two elder sisters and a third born brother.

He is reportedly a proud husband with a lovely wife and a 3-year-old son. Further sources allege that only one of his parents is alive today.

Education History

MC Kudu attended Igonga Primary School and later Igonga Secondary School between form one and form two.

In form three, Kudu moved to St Peters’ Suneka High School eventually sitting for his KCSE exams in 2015.

Thereafter, MC Kudu proceeded to the Nairobi-based Kamata College for a course in Music Production and Sound Engineering.

Coming from a low-income family; he completed school through the sponsorship of Nyabiosi Welfare Group.

Music career history

While in high school, MC Kudu was an active member of drama and music clubs. He admits to discovering an inborn talent through events and close relatives.

The immense support from his kinsmen inspired him to produce a debut song ‘Obomo bwa Nyabiosi.’

For the record, Igonga is a home of talents such as Danlee, Fallyflame, and Tamtam.

He acknowledges a now-deceased grandfather as a talented Obokano player.

Speaking to Nyamwembe TV, MC Kudu confirmed that the song ‘Engombe Ritororo’ gave him a breakthrough.

It is the Nyakoe-based GATO Records run by Vigilante that produced the street banger.

Dreams of doing a collabo with role model artists Babu Gee, Miggy Champ, and Vekta have since been fulfilled.
