Marko Joseph allegedly died on Tuesday night, August 20, 2024, while receiving treatment at Muhimbili National Hospital. Insider sources say that he succumbed to heart failure.

Zabron Singers who comprise family members and close relatives launched their first album โ€œNawakumbukaโ€ in 2012.

They have since thrived under the leadership of Marko and lead singers Victoria, Jamila, and Japheth.

Their father, Zabron, was a respected composer and church leader who instilled in them a love for gospel music.

The Tanzanian-based singing group rose to fame in 2020 for their hit song Mkono wa Bwana, released in 2016.

For the record, Mkono wa Bwanaย became an anthem during the campaigns of President William Ruto in 2022.

They have since released more praise tracks and curated a working relationship with other singers including Msanii Music Group.

โ€œWhen we were in high school, we went to a studio and recorded a song.

We didnโ€™t have money and had to borrow from people to pay for studio time.

The recording was so bad that we were even ashamed of releasing the song. We almost gave up.โ€
